SELLING at SWAP SHOP

Selling your items through Swap Shop is easy. You save yourself the inconvenience of a garage sale and benefit the children of Carrcroft School!!  The items you sell at Swap Shop earn you a profit of 70% and The Carrcroft PTA earns the remaining 30%. You do not need to be present to sell your items but volunteers are always needed. Please see below on how to volunteer.

You will need to obtain a Master Number (seller identification number), and purchase tags at Carrcroft Elementary School on:   

Saturday, February 4, 2012  8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. or until sold out.

We CANNOT guarantee availability. 

We have 25,000 tags available for sale but we have sold out in the past, so please plan your purchase accordingly.  Tags are sold in bundles of 20 tags for $1.00.  You can buy a maximum of 200 tags for $10. At the tag sale, you will also be given a copy of our selling instructions to assist you in packaging and tagging your items as well as a description of items we can and cannot accept. Tag and price your items at home (all items must be properly tagged for reimbursement) and bring them to the “Swap Shop Check In” during the following times:

Thursday, March 1, 2012                4:15 pm - 8:30 pm

Friday, March 2, 2012                      9:00 am - 10:15 am

Return on Sunday, March 4, 2012 between 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm to pick up your unsold merchandise and your check!  If you would like some or all of your unsold items to go to charity, indicate that by marking a green “X” on the underside of your tags (or top if taped).  Any items marked for charity and/or not picked up by 3:00 p.m. sharp on Sunday are considered Swap Shop property and are donated to a charity of our choice. 

SWAP SHOP has been a successful community tradition and fund-raiser for 51 years because of the high quality items we accept for sale at bargain prices.  Please consider this while tagging your items.  We will turn away items we feel will not sell or due to condition. Traditional big sellers are bikes, sports equipment, costumes, Scout Uniforms, school uniforms, baby equipment (no cribs mattress), and children’s clothing (the current season) and in VERY good condition.
